Open to all gardeners who live in Wirral. There will be a section by the Merseyside Leek Society (for the second year), a flower arrangement section and a children's section. There will be a warm welcome to those who take part and the general public who support it.

Hoole Allotments, Chester

Large 13 acre site with over 180 plots using a range of layouts and styles of cultivation. Some plots are very traditional however many plot holders use the raised bed system, organic methods and mixed flower/vegetable cultivation. Some plots are dedicated to community art work and have interesting installations
There is a living willow horse stabled on a community plot as well several plots with chickens and a resident bee keeper.

Plymyard Hall Allotments, Eastham, Wirral

Allotments are sited on an area previously used as the gardens of a very large house known as Plymyard. Some features are still to be seen; ha-ha and specimen trees. The allotments are well tended, with a huge variety of vegetables, fruit and flowers on show. Some produce may be on sale for charity. Enjoy a plethora of plants set against the backdrop of towering trees and pleasant surroundings

Sefton Park Allotments Society, Liverpool

Nearly 100 individually tended fruit and vegetable plots with a wide variety of produce. This year there will be a Produce Show on Open Day and visitors can vote for the best vase of flowers and basket of vegetables
The site has featured in national TV and film productions - see the 'Bread' shed where Li-low Lil held her trysts on plot 89

Sun 11 July (2-5.30)
Kingsway Allotments Association, Liverpool

Kingsway allotments has 32 plots which vary in style, content and eccentricity. Vegetables, flowers, herbs and chickens all flourish. Produce should be plentiful on opening day, and plot holders will be on site for a chat. School children from Newton Primary School share one plot which also has a large communal polytunnel and pond-drain.
